The poor chap - we had a rescue male rough who would try to get in to wardrobes, under the desk anything to hide and get away from the noise.

Really hope they get some positive news very soon

clap cheers Great news.

Hate fireworks, I cannot believe my local waitrose is still selling them "buy one get one free" Moan Moan soap box

Surely there are no more "festivals" to celebrate

I was overjoyed to hear that this boy was home. I wish fireworks were for public displays only - there are too many morons out there. We spend so much time worrying about security etc in this country & yet allow explosives to be on open sale to any Tom, Dick or Harry!

So glad to hear the collie was found. Very Happy Since fireworks have been legalized in Maine,USA there are numerous nights of people setting them off. My Holly is dreadfully scared and would run away. She's very skiddish in comparison to Babbs. We haven't heard them lately, but instead it's gunshots from hunters. They hunt right white flag scared2 around the house.

Mary, it can be a little unnerving especially when the shots sound close. I know most of the hunters and trust them, but I don't let Holly or Babbs in the woods until the season is over. My husband said some people just like to shoot and even though a sheltie doesn't resemble a deer, thinking they might shoot. white flag Those little white tails are tempting to some. I'm always happy when its over and we can walk together in the woods again.
