Hi, we are the owners of Misty the missing sheltie that is on dog lost sight number43310 She is still missing and we still get some sightings! We were away when our poor little babe slipped her collar and did a runner, as she is a fairly timid girl and who ever had her would not be able to entice back to them, she only would come to my wife ( Rene ) or myself ( Bob ) Since 19/09/2012 she has been roaming in various places First at Fairlight four or five weeks after slipping her collar. Then Broad Street Icklesham about a week later, then a good few weeks later at Broad Oak Brede She has been Tracked by Jenny and Tiga ( Dog Lost Volenteer Tracker ) so we know that she has been to all three places and confirmed by Tiga the tracker dog. Then various sightings one at Westfield ( which I am sure was a definate one but not tracked as we could not get to the field at the time as locked gate and needed to check who's land before tracking it ) The latest is a possible along the Chittcombe Road B2089 Between Cripps Corner and Broad oak. So we are just waiting for another definate sighting so that we can give Jenny and Tiga a call and hope we can do that within a couple of hours to be up with Misty! Here's Hoping all the best and many thanks for all your help Bob and Rene.

Hi bob and Rene.
I hope you don't mind me mentioning, but it may help but I have just looked Misty up on dog lost, and in the search,Misty is under the title "sheltie"
It may be worth asking administration at dog lost if you can run a second or linked thread (not sure how these things work)under the titles "Shetland sheepdog" and even under "rough collie".( just in case people sight her but confuse her with a rough.:-) )
Lisa xx
Ps. I have cross posted again over Facebook..x

Hi its Rene Mistys owner still havent found her but still getting sightings. Been out searching and postering again this last weekend but still no joy.Have been scenting and leaving food as suggested by Dog Lost sight but she has so far not been back to where she last tracked. Still hoping she will find her way home as they are such clever little dogs, miss her so.

Hi Sheila the last sighting was six days ago at between Broadoak and Udimore crossing the road between 6 and 6.30 in the evening. We went out the next day putting posters in letterboxes and speaking to people in the area. Fingers crossed we will find her soon.
